Office Assistant and Receptionist

Due to the growth of our business we have an exciting new position for a competent Office Assistant and Receptionist to help with the organisation and running of the daily administrative operations of the business.
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working and organised professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. The person will be able to work with a high degree of attention to detail.

•    General reception duties such as answering the telephone, meeting clients, and arranging appointments.
•    Managing the client database and filing system
•    General admin duties such as filing, binding and typing letters
•    Management of office facilities
•    Any other ad hoc tasks that arise

•    Previous office and reception experience
•    Experience of managing databases
•    Knowledge of Microsoft outlook, excel and word
•    Good telephone manner
•    Organisational and time management skills
•    Dependability
•    Attention to detail
•    Ability to learn quickly and act on initiative
•    Ability to represent the business with a positive attitude and professional appearance

The role is on a part-time basis ideally Monday to Friday 9.30 - 3.00 however working hours can be negotiated.

Salary will be between £16,000 and £20,000 pro rata, depending on experience.

Start date: As soon as possible.


Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant 

We are a firm of accountants and registered auditors located in Oxfordshire offering business advice and support to clients in a wide range of professions. Our services include audit, accounts, business development, bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, corporate tax and personal tax.

Due to the growth of our business we have an exciting new position for a qualified (or part-qualified) accountant seeking to further their career in an accountancy practice.

You will be required to visit clients on their premises in and around Oxfordshire. The candidate will also be required to assist in the training and development of trainees' progress.

An all-round experience in accounts preparation and tax is essential. Knowledge of accounting software, particularly Sage Line 50 and Xero would be an advantage and we also require a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Person Specification:

  • ACCA/ACA Qualified or part qualified (at least half-way through studies

  • Previous experience in working in an accountancy practice

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office

  • Ability to communicate well

  • Trustworthy and reliable

  • Organised and punctual

  • Knowledgable in a range of Accounting Software

  • A full driving licence

Salary depends on level of experience. A Study package will be provided for candidates with exams remaining.
